Chief Financial Officer Part Time Hainesport Township
Hainesport Township in Burlington County is seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual with excellent financial, managerial and organizational skills for the part-time position of Chief Municipal Financial Officer. Applicants must possess a valid NJ Certified Municipal Finance Officer license and a minimum of three (3) years local government experience. Qualified Purchase Agent a plus. Hainesport Township is a 6 square mile municipality with a 5.5 million budget, 15 employees and 6,000 residents. CMFO responsibilities include all municipal finance governmental functions, including statutory requirements, preparation/oversight of the general ledger, AFS, ADS, SDS, budget, payroll, pension/employment reports, bank reconciliations, finance-related ordinances and resolutions, accounts payable/receivable, grant collections/disbursements, debt investments, purchasing, PILOT payment management, financial controls and escrow management. Must be able to analyze financial data, advise on financial matters, forecasting, managing staff and experience with Edmunds software, Excel, Word and related electronic reporting platforms. Must be bondable and pass a background check. The position requires approximately 10 hours per week, in office during business hours at least one day per week.
